Protect detail marks logos, badges or lettering the AI upscaler keeps faithful (not used by AI retouch). Protected boxes never appear in the saved photo. Mark a badge, wheel, tyre or lettering and give the app a clean reference picture. AI replace (paid, only when you press Generate) redraws the part inside the box to match your reference while keeping the photo’s own position, size, angle, wheel arch, ground contact and light. Each result is a candidate : compare it and press Accept — nothing changes before that. Preserve pastes the original pixels back after Improve / Upscale. To place a picture unchanged, use Place as-is (Logos) .
