What we look at before fitment
Protection equipment changes the front axle load, airflow, sensor coverage and recovery capability of the vehicle, so the fitment brief starts with the exact model, trim and what else is already fitted.
Sensors, cameras and airbags
Parking sensors, radar cruise, 360 cameras and airbag sensors must keep working after a bar is fitted. We confirm relocation or integration before quoting.
Winch and recovery integration
If a winch, recovery points or an air compressor are planned, the bar and mounting must be chosen for that load rather than retro-fitted around it.
Weight and suspension
A steel bar plus a winch adds permanent front-axle load. That load is carried into the suspension brief so front springs and damping are matched to the finished vehicle.
Underbody and side protection
Rock sliders, bash plates and cattle rails are matched to wheelbase, chassis rails and where the vehicle is used — bush touring, farm work or heavy off-road.
Finish and corrosion
Coating, hardware and drainage matter on a vehicle that works in mud, sand and dust. Mounting points are checked for water traps at fitment.

Which bullbar fits my vehicle?
It depends on the exact South African model, model year and trim. Send the vehicle details and what you plan to mount on the bar, and we confirm the compatible options from the brands we stock.
Will a bullbar affect my airbags or sensors?
A correctly matched, vehicle-specific bar is designed to work with the vehicle's safety systems, and sensors or cameras are relocated where the design requires it. We confirm this for the exact vehicle before fitment.
Can you fit a winch at the same time?
Yes. Winch capability is part of the bar selection, and it is far cheaper to specify the winch, wiring and isolation at the same time as the bar than to add it later.
Do I need suspension work after fitting a bar?
Often yes. A steel bar and winch add permanent front load, which can cause sag and change the ride. We record the front accessory load so the suspension can be matched to it.
How long does a protection fitment take?
Workshop time depends on the vehicle, the exact products and whether supporting parts are required. We confirm the booking length in writing with the quote before the vehicle comes in.
